Top Crunchy Four of 2012

I’ve seen a bunch of round-up posts over the past few days and I have to say it is so fun to see the “best of” everyone’s year!  I’ve been blogging for only four months, so rather than posting a top 10 or top 12, I’m sticking with a top four – one for each month that Crunchy Diva has been up and running!  Here they are…

This is what got Crunchy Diva off the ground back in September – my post about our Staircase Renewal was a big hit!

And then a can of spray paint, an ugly lamp and a feature on RoadKill Rescue popped the Turquoise Lamp transformation into the number 2 slot for 2012:

And a FANTASTIC opportunity came my way just before Thanksgiving – the lovely Susan invited to do a guest post on her fabulous blog, Between Naps on the Porch!  I was over the moon.  Our Dining Room to Mudroom project was the topic of that post:

Rounding out the top four was the post about changing our screened porch into a dining room (because we lost the dining room to the mudroom!  You gotta be quick to keep up with the changes around here)

So I thank you all for starting this awesome blogging journey with me – I love sharing my little (and not so little!) projects with you.   I think I’m going to keep it up in 2013!  I’m even thinking of going to the Haven Conference in August to learn more about blogging.  Because honestly I’m doing this by the seat of my pants!   Thankfully Kristi over at Addicted2Decorating and Linauer Design is helping me design a blog that looks professional so stay tuned for a new Crunchy Diva look soon.

Happy New Year, all.

  1. Love the stairs and mudroom. We are looking to do the exact same thing. We have a Cape. What are the dimensions of your old dining room? Just trying to map this out in our house.
    Thanks!

    • Hi Megan – I can send you my drawings – they have dimensions on them – hopefully they’ll help! Thanks for commenting! I’m so glad you like the project – I am STILL thrilled with it! It never gets old.
